I have a Series 5 cellular watch, used it with a Vodafone sim no problem. Just switched it to an existing O2 sim on a refresh 15gb plan and it’s telling me to add a sim only £5month to my plan. Why would I do that when I barely use any data as it is?! Surely it should just use the data plan I already have?!

To use it without your phone, you need the watch data plan.

Otherwise, just connect it to your phone via Bluetooth and use as an addition to your phone.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Had I known I’d have to fork out for extra data I’d never have spent the extra on getting cellular! Why would I pay for more data when I have more than enough on my plan it’s ridiculous!
