Cannot send or receive MMS form non iphone

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello

First time on the forum so be gentle.

I cannot send or receive any MMS from my iphone 4 to for example a Nokia phone?

I am on O2 contract and i have data roaming and all settings appear to be ok, however when trying to send a foto to a Nokia phone it will not go.

I have read somewhere that this maybe an issue with either O2 or apple?

Can anyone shed some light on this and PLEASE for me keep it simple lol lol

Check your APN settings for the bolt on that you have.

idata bolt on is idata.o2.co.uk

standard bolt on is mobile.o2.co.uk

Also make sure mobile data is on.

I remember reading something about issues with iphones sending MMS to other phones. Something to do with image compression incompatibility.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
