I have an iphone5 on contract with O2 which has now gone faulty. I took it into my local O2 and got fobbed off as it was "out of warranty" and to take it to the Apple store for a £200 repair. I'm sorry O2 this is on contract and you cannot walk away from your responsibilities. You are charging me for a phone which you supplied and doesn't work. Under the sale of goods act you have to repair or replace as long as it's on contract. See you in Sheriff Court shortly.

Hi @Anonymous and Welcome to the Community Forum.

I'm sorry to hear of the issue with the iPhone.

May I ask have you checked the speakers and ports for dust / lint.

Applied any screen shields recently.

The volume is turned up using the side + volume button.

Also try Holding the Top Button and Home Button until the Apple Logo appears, and then let go of both.

Your iPhone will reset.

And or ;

Settings , General , Reset , Reset All Settings.

Good luck and please let us know how you get on.
