Hi
Since switching from an iPhone 4 to iPhone 5 I can no longer send emails via O2's 3G service (wifi is fine). I restored the new phone from a backup so all settings were copied over.
I assume that the problem is with the outgoing mail server settings and have looked through the forums at other comments. The O2 server settings seems right, although I note that my user name is the just my O2 name, whereas some people suggest it should be username@o2.co.uk - I have tried that but it is rejected.
Any advice would be welcome.
Thanks
Phil

Mine uses the full o2 email address. 4s ios6
You could try deleting the account and setting it up again.
That seams to cure most email account issues

Thanks for the reply. I've thought of deleting it and starting again, but I am not sure what the password is and O2 doesn't seem to offer a way of retriving that password.
