My iPhone 4 isn't holding its battery charge. It is charged to 100% at night and the following morning it's dead. What can be done about this.

Plug your phone into iTunes and make a full back up.
Then restore your phone as new and let it update.
After the update you can restore your back up.

If doing an itunes update you do not need the free space only when doing a ota update do you need the space explained here http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4623
