Dropped my samsung s6 in the bath 8 weeks ago. No power initially but when i tried to charge it monday it came on. Screen not working but there is juice in it. I have sent it off to see if they can repair it (guru said as long as its charging there is a chance they can fix it).
Am I being a bit ambitious hoping they can fix it and anyone any idea how much its gonna cost me.
thanks

I doubt the phone will ever work correctly again. None of the components are compatible with water damage and corrosion can occur within weeks affecting different functions. Personally I think yes, a little optimistic.

Data recovery then bin.
But even data recovery is low %
Wife got hers dunked by my lad, toasted.
So I took apart, cleaned it all with methanol, reassembled and became apparent the screen was gone, I hooked up to pc and blindly unlocked, then set to mtp USB then authorised the pc access, all on a blank screen, using only the touchscreen and screenshots of where the buttons will be.
5hours solid work and only because I roughly know what I'm doing.

That must have taken so much patience and beyond most folk, certainly beyond me. Thankfully I back up weekly and photos are automatically backed up as soon as I'm on wifi.

It's actually the display controller on mainboard that's toast so touch feedback worked.
So frustrating though getting it into file transfer mode, the button was in different place on invisible screen thanks to an update.
No joke, it was hard work
