two SD cards show, but there is only one (obviously)

I have a newish Samsung Galaxy Mini. which I upgraded from a Galaxy Apollo. I simply put my SIM and SD card from the old phone into the new phone.

But looking in My Files, there is sdcard0 and extSdCard. This latter seems to be my old card as my photos are in the DCIM folder taken with old phone. New photos go there too.

Is it normal to have sdcard0 and extSdCard?

Hi

Must be an Android thing. wink

It's a shame one cannot change the actual 'name' of the storage header.

Perfectly logical.
Sdcard0, 1, 2, 3 etc for as many storage partitions you want.
Can be changed if you are rooted.
