stored numbers - callers are all unknown

My wife's mobile does not show who is calling here, even though she has numerous numbers/contacts stored.

 

Any ideas?

And this morning, it happened again, a caller who is in her list of contacts came up as unknown.

 

So I disabled the sim and re-enabled it, lets see what happens tomorrow.

 

Is it the phone or the sim card?  The phone is quite new, less than a year.

I did the disable/enable sim yesterday morning and so far (haha) so good.

Sadly I spoke too soon.

 

Same thing this morning even after restarting the phone as well as disabling/enabling the SIM.

 

Me thinks we are having a trip into the Toon to the nearest O2 shop.

I am confused.

We have had no issues since I last disabled/enabled which was over a week ago.

Has the sim/phone sorted itself out?  I wonder.  It seems that it only happens when my wife powers the phone off or it goes flat.
