stored numbers - callers are all unknown

My wife's mobile does not show who is calling here, even though she has numerous numbers/contacts stored.

Any ideas?

I had the same problem suddenly, so I disabled/enabled my sim & it worked straight away!

Hello, it's me again.

The phone has been fine for ages, and yesterday, bang, same thing again.

Why, what have O2 done in the last few days to cause this to happen. 

Is it O2 at fault?

I'd say so as my Mrs hasn't done anything to change any settings.

I've disabled the SIM within the settings, but still the same outcome, calls even from anyone in the contacts list, including me are unknown!

And this evening, I swapped sim cards in the phones, and still no joy.
