I just got the Sony z2 and downloaded the free spiderman 2 but I cannot play it. It will just crash out after it loads. Anyone else have this same issue.

Also I am struggling to download the other free games. I go to PlayStation mobile app but there is no download option/section where I can see my games ready for me to download.

Try deleting the game and re downloading it.

Try downloading the sony lounge app from google play.

I downloaded the game for my Z1 through Xperia lounge and although loads and plays fine, continually stops working when doing other things. I guess a fault with the game. I'm planning on deleting it anyway.

Can't say I have tried to download any games through PS mobile app but when there was free films as promotion Sony/O2 were a bit rubbish at sorting it all out. Ended up downloading them on my PS3.

Hopefully will just sort itself out with a few minor updates..
