There are others who have had problems texting Australia and it seems to be an O2 and certain Australian networks agreement problem. I thought this had been resolved by now.

Hi all,
called CS today, its a bit strange, they checked all the settings and all were ok. They also had no record of the messages I tried to send and also of the message I received from aus.
But I did get a solution, just need to type the number in and not use the contacts list.

A conundrum indeed but its good to hear you have a workaround.

Well that line surprises me because it is totally different when I am in the EU. If I manually type the number in I always get the message 'This number has not been provisioned'....if I use it from my contacts list it always connects...
