You just need the correct smtp settings to send emails from your phone.

Incoming e-mail: pop3.live.com

Imcoming port: 995

outgoing e-mail: smtp.live.com

Outgoing port: 25

I have a Samsung Galaxy J3 (6) - my email account is with msn.  I receive emails on my phone, but if I try to send one it reports "sending failed".  I have found loads of stuff about settings and server names etc. on the net, but nothing I try helps.  In addition, some of the details advice settings that do not appear on my phone, ie advanced settings for email??  Some of the solutions do not seem to be complete.  I think that the problem is an incompatability between O2 setup details and Galaxy J3 setup facilities.  I just cannot believe O2 do not have a comprehensive resolution for this type of problem because I cannot imagine I am the first person to come across this problem with outgoing emails, or is emailing now out of date?
