s3 Software Update?

Can anyone tell me when 02 will release the latest software upgrade to the S3? I love my S3 but i also like to be updated with the latest software for it as well. I believe the software update will sort out the dreaded SD card problems that come with the S3.

I believe they normally only release once the update is tested and they are happy with it

O2 will never tell us when firmware is coming but you can be assured they will most likely be the last of the networks to do so......

In my opinion may be better to be the last as long as you dont really need update to correct a specific issue

I don't follow that logic at all.... Samsung will have already tested it and it will have been available in beta form for many months before O2 get it. All they do is stick a splash screen on it and add their apps. I'd agree with you IF they ever did anything else, but they don't 😞

I agree with MI5; it's nothing short of annoying being the last to get updates, especially when the dealy is caused by O2 adding/tinkering with stuff that wasn't wanted (I don't know anyone who gets excited about seeing the splash screen).

The 4.2.2 update to my HTC One X was three weeks behind HTC's actual release! Not acceptable, especially if peoplew are waiting for these updates to sort out functionality issues with phones they are paying a premium price to O2 for.
