Sounds like your phone has lost its connection to the network.

Welcome to the community.

Suggest you go to settings, more networks, mobile networks, select network operator and search. One o2 appears click on this and register the handset/sim to the network.

If o2 doesn't appear it could be an issue with the network.

Check status at status.o2.co.uk put in your postcode and check signal.

Please let us know how you get on.

Is the sim inserted in the phone properly? Try removing it, give it a wipe, and reinsert it.

It's either a fault with the phone or something simple that you may have overlooked. Good luck with it. Please come back to the forum and let us know how you get on.

Hi,

Check the Sims tray for any dust or lint.

If you can try another Sim card in the phone to rule out the phone at fault or try your Sim in an alternative phone. Process of elimination.  slight_smile

Give the Sim card a clean.

Try visiting the O2 High-Street Shop and ask them for a blank Sim for your contract type, ie ; Payg or Contract, and ask them to perform the Sims swap for you.

It can take up to 24 hours for your O2 Network signal to settle.

Turning the phone off and on helps to reset the connection.

Let us know how you get on.
