hi
I have a problem with a GPS in my galaxy s4. Can not find the location. Today in the living O2 guy told me that the GPS will not work without enabled mobile date which is total bull**bleep**! Even once he was in Servisi and nothing was done. What should I do?

I tested the GPS application many times and I know that my GPS does not work. I do not understand why service not see it does not work?!

I would contact Samsung and explain the issue to them, I'm sure they will either fix it or replace the phone for you.

It all makes more sense with a full description of the problem!

What do you want to know more, buddy? GPS in my samsungu galaxy s4 does not determine my location. There it was only when I use the O2 network, and on that basis determine my location. But when excluding data mobile phone is not the location. A must because the phone has a GPS module that defines the position using satellites.

@roki01:
It was a retrospective post; earlier in the thread people were trying to answer the question but didn't know exactly what you were trying to get your GPS to do (if anything). Some people that pose questions on the forum have a VERY basic knowledge of phones, and just aren't doing something right.
Now you have explained the problem it does appear that there may be something wrong with the GPS, hope Samsung manage to sort it for you.

To be fair to the OP there was a lot of confusion over nothing.
They stated the GPS was not finding the location and they had been told they needed to use mobile data to get the location. It was quite simple, the GPS unit wasn't working and still isn't.

I am an engineer and a little know about phones and basically they work :). Unfortunately, I have bad English and I can not explain the technical terms of my problem in 02 Can someone please help me and write a note to the service with an explanation of the problem? I will print it and I'll take them, will tell. Thank you!

I would simply state:
O2,
I would like you to either fix the GPS unit in my phone or replace the phone. I have tried multiple things in order to test the GPS (different software, different locations, indoors and outdoors) and nothing works.

I wonder how they check the GPS did not confirm a fault. I hope you do not test it on Google Maps.
