number transfer to pay monthly contract

Hi

I would like to start a pay monthly contract with 02 but would also like to keep my old number from a sim from giffgaff, do i need to order and set up the contract and recieve the phone than transfer the number, or can i put in the number with PAC code etc when ordering online so it is all set up for when i recieve the phone?

All you are doing is UPGRADING....

DO NOT.GET A PAC

As your an O2 customer already, all you are doing.is upgrading.

Getting a pac is when you are LEAVING o2 and your not leaving
