Help its me again.

 

Trying to move photos from mums motorola E4 to my laptop and its only finding 15 pics 😞

 

How do i get it to find the others please ?

It's Windows XP but the process is the same for all versions of Windows.


Thank you for your help but i got confused and i am bluetoothing them its only way i can do it. 2 and half hours and i had had enough

When you connect to your PC you will need to open any older that contains photos such as DCM folder or PICTURES or they may have been saved in their own named folders.

I have connected phone to laptop with USB 

 

File transfer and it looks for pics but only finds 15 doesnt see the others even though i can see them on mums phone

OK.. try moving them on the phone itself to the location where the ones you can find are. 

 

How much access to the file system on the phone you get depends on what you use to connect and what you tell the computer (or it decides) the phone is - (USB drive, an external camera and so on - rarely a phone, ironically) + how USB is set up on both.there is probably some moto software to download to give you more but moving them yourself will be far quicker.

If you haven't already got one, I download a file manager on the phone from Google play store This is a good one.. And that should let you find and move all the pics.

Now how do i get them onto the laptop please ? 

 

Do i have to download the file manager to laptop ?

You can drag and drop from the phone to laptop in just the same way that you would move a file from one directory to another normally.

Left click mouse and hold the picture file name and move your mouse to the directory on your laptop where you want the picture to be put then let go of the mouse button.
