Check your masts http://status.o2.co.uk
You may new to have your sim swapped out an an O2 store.
Put your sim in another phone as a process of elimination.
If it's ok then have your phone checked out at an Apple Store genius bar via appointment

Try it without if so.
If not, you may need a new sim card.
A previous issue such as this was resolved with a new sim card. Any O2 shop can help you with this.
