Same for all of us on JB regardless of device. I think JB uses more juice than ICS did. Google now seems to use battery and also delete anything you don't use anymore (I had 2 versions of swype installed and when I deleted an older version I got an improvement).

Hi MI5,

Is it worth doing a factory reset after the update?

I would certainly back up and reset esp if you are getting any force close messages or anything not working correctly. Not sure if it will help with battery drain though. Let us know if you try it....

Well one week on and still no update. Ive had a frustrating conversation with an o2 guru who tried to tell me that  android 4.03 ( my software version ) was already upto date and was in fact jelly bean, so I quickly realised I'd be getting no help there!

I wonder if anyone in here could shed some light as to when I'm likely to get the update?

My CID is HTC_001 if thats any help.

Many thanks.

Your CID means you get updates directly from HTC, not O2 so I suggest you contact HTC to ask the question.

Thanks for your reply, as you suggested I've contacted HTC directly.

For anyone else in the same situation the reply from HTC was basically " you'll get it when the batch release gets round to your serial number, shouldnt be long now"

Guess I'll just have to be patient.

Hi MI5,
I tried what you suggested and did a factory reset as recommended and it made a slight difference.
The power saver mode kinda makes up the short fall but sacrificing performance in the process!
I've noticed at times something drains the battery then stops so I'll say the battery is slightly worst but not major...
