Given the huge interest with new software updates, we’d like to share some exciting news for hTC One S customers
You’ll all be pleased to know that we’re currently testing and working closely with hTC UK to release the Jelly Bean (4.1) software update for hTC One S users to ensure it delivers the best user experience when launched.
Once the testing is approved and we are given a green light for the roll-out, we’ll update this post – watch this space guys!
Thanks, Abs
Update (16/01/2013): All hTC One S customers should be able to get the Jelly Bean update from today!

Whatever you do, don't give a specific date if past experience is anything to go by:smileywink:

I'm only going to update the OP when the software accreditation has been approved and the roll-out actually kicks off for O2 customers
PS: It may sound easy peasy for many but in reality it's a much more complex job to test any software update!

Been waiting for (literally) months, here and also following 02 tweets. Seen it all before.
Check this I tweeted on 3rd Sept - https://twitter.com/ispykenny
02 are a bigger tease than Mati Hari.

Still no sign of any JB updates for HTC One S yet.
Obviously we have all fallen for O2 spin in light of the heat they got over the One X update debacle. I can almost hear the disccusion around the table .... "Quick, get on to forum and tell them that we've a HTC One S update coming soon and that will stop the One S crowd forming a posse like the One X users and slagging us off all over"
Very poor show, O2, very poor indeed.
