free texts

Does anyone know how to send free texts using the 02 site?

Click MyO2 at the top of the page, scroll down to Added Value and click Send a text.

Cant see "Added Value" on menus on my screen.

Despite having 2 O2 mobile accounts I no longer qualify for free texts (no added value there!! ) on the web since going to Plusnet for my broadband. No hassle though still get free texts via tablet

If you're out of texts but have some data allowance left, you could try using Kik messenger or Whatsapp. The apps are available on most os's (Android, iOS, Windows phone), and you can send text, pics, vids, etc etc for a couple of Kb of data (very little), as long as your friends have the app too. Works across networks and across os's too. Try It!

I don't believe you can send free texts from your phone only from a pc.
