android upgrade

My S6 keeps telling me there is no software update available. 

I'm currently using 5.0.2 and have checked the software upgrade part of settings where it keeps telling me 

'the latest updates have been installed'

 

anyone else having these problems?

Thanks, downloaded it now but no upgrade showing up...think I'm gonna have to do a factory reset, backed everything up via smart switch but before I do anything would someone please reassure me that I'll get all my data back if i plug it back into smart switch once its reset? Its definitely all backed up via smart switch!

It backed up all of mine, and restored it perfectly onto a new phone.
And after a change of csc too.

I've never put a timescale on it to be honest but I've seen them there for days and days....

I know factory resets are recommeneded for Android updates, but is that just for major updates like going from Kitkat to Lollipop, or does that include minor security type updates too?

Not usually required for small updates, but lollipop 5 to 5.1 is quite a major update.
