Hello. Apologies if this is discussed elsewhere but I couldn't find a directly applicable answer to my question.
I have recently switched from GiffGaff to O2 'proper' (as it were), and am on an 18-month SIM only contract. I plan to replace my existing Moto G6 soon with the new G8 Plus, which O2 do not sell directly. It is not a deal-breaker, but does O2 support the Wifi calling feature on Motorola phones bought directly from the manufacturer?
Many thanks.

Hi @PAF
It states on the website:
*On some Android devices, Wifi and 4G Calling will only work if you’re using O2 firmware. That’s essentially the software that makes your device turn on and run. Sometimes there are different versions of firmware for the same device.
I feel it's unlikely as we are not selling it directly and it will not have our firmware.

Thanks. I had seen that list and wondered how current it was.
