Hello,
I have a J3 Galaxy Samsung phone.
I can send ordinary texts but when I attach a mms picture they just keep failing.
I have turned my wi-fi off and put the mobile data usage on but still have the same problem.
I would be very grateful if anybody has any suggestions.
Thank you
Lesley

Are you on PAYG or a pay monthly contract? As you may or may not have any in your allowance and/or will be charged for them.
If it has to be an MMS then check your settings match those on the following:

Thanks for your reply.
They do go through ok on Whatapp.
I just don't understand why they don't go through with normal texts.
I am on PAYG. I do have a £10 big bundle at the moment. Maybe I would be able to send them if it went back t standard rates? I keep thinking it is me doing something silly!
Thank you

They would work if you added credit on top of your bundle or switched to classic PAYG.

I think you may find that the picture messages are not part of the £10 bundle. I mention this as had exactly the same issue until I had extra credit on my account and realised that when I sent a pcture message my balance was reduced by 30p.. so think you may find they are charged for. Hope that helps

Hi @Anonymous You are correct MMS aren't included in bundles or allowances on PAYG.... Picture messaging (MMS) are chargeable....as well as adding emoji's to any text message. A guide here https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Other-Products-and-Services/Accidental-MMS-Sending-and-How-to-Avoid-it/ba-p/1014132
