When will Z1 ship?

Hello.

Can an O2 employee confirm the day that the Z1 will ship out? (Not to be confused with the release date)

I don't think that is true about Refresh sending out emails automatically when you accept the terms. I ordered mine on the 5th and didn't get a dispatch email til the 16th, like everybody else. I don't get the impression that anyone at O2 know what they are actually talking about.....

The system automatically sets up the entire shipment process, as far as I could gather. Minus the phone of course. I was told it was teething problems with the new system

Ok just to clarify a few things.

preorders can be given to the courier before the launch an example Z1. the couriers are under instructions to deliver on launch day which for the Z1 is this Friday.

They shouldnt have sent SMS out to anyone saying next day delivery, although this is standard.

We should all recieve our Z1 (myself included) for Friday, if not then the issue will be with the courier for some reason.

Those that preorder if you log into my O2 and check recent orders and there is a consignment number this means your phone is with the courier and fingers x for Friday.

That's odd. I was told by O2 Customer Service on the phone this morning that O2 doesn't even have stock of the phones yet....

Are you sure the Lens ships with the phone? Two people in CS have told me you get a card and the reg with Sony online to get it shipped out to you.

I don't think anyone at O2 knows what is actually going on. I have heard 4 different stories from 6 different people working for O2 in just 2 days.

I agree... they are a shambles it seems... conflicting stories everywhere. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing.

Ask again, you might get told something else

I do hope, for the sake of the customer service people, that the phones will arrive friday. Otherwise it will be a busy day at O2 for something the people who are answering the phones have no control over
