got Samsung s5 5 weeks ago and it stopped working just checked and says its warranty exchange what does this mean ?

You can send it off to Samsung to be repairs or replaced as you have a 2 year warranty

Was sent off and when I checked status says its heading back as warranty exchange

It means the phone was a warranty replacement for a previously faulty device.

Sounds like they are replacing the handset.
