Time Change not Working

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have a Samsung Note and a Samsung Galaxy 2. When I go to America both phones change time automatically. I am currently in Spain and neither phone will change. I go into settings and then clock but there is no facility there to manually change the time.

How can this be done?

Thank you.

I ticked 'automatic date and time' and 'automatic time zone' and that solved my problem.

Thank you all for your help.

Merry Christmas to everyone.

I go to Spain frequently with my Note 3  and my time changes automatically. It alsways shows UK time alongside Spanish time

Have you turned the phone off and back on again?

If you go into settings make sure you have automatic time zone ticked

normally go into settings / personalisation / date and time and tick the auto box. If it's unticked you have the option to set manually.

It sounds like the network you are connecting to doesn't support auto updates,
The feature is network dependent.

Then the op should try to manually select the Movistar network as this does support auto updates. Never fails for me..

For sure. But some don't.

I actually never knew that. Probably because mine just clicks onto Movistar (as if it has come home) wink

it shouldn't be required as it's a sim card function.

It was just a thought. The OP hasn't returned, so we don't know what they have or haven't tried.
