Tethering Samsung to ipad

I used to be able to create a personal hotspot on my Samsung Galaxy S phone to connect my ipad3 to the internet. Since upgrading my ipad to ios6 it cannot see the hotspot or tether. Does anyone have a suggestion?

That's rather wierd didn't think iOS would play with the wifi setup:/

Does it see other networks?

I think restoring the iPad may be your best bet

I just tested it on my iphone to ipad and worked fine.  I did have to manually put in the name of my phone and password, whereas before it would just appear, but works the same.  But not sure about Samsung 😞

Thanks Liquid and Pickles. After your suggestions I changed the settings on my phone to force iPad to look again. And it worked! Thanks again.
