Sony xperia xz3

[RCL]

Having problems with the phone keep freezing, unable to reset /reboot or turn the phone off. It doesn't respond to any touch on the screen, it's been since the android 10 update and is happening more often. Checked apps installed nothing new for months. Thanks for any help.

Thanks, I have looked at the Sony Community and saw the solution but it didn't work, and I can understand if Sony have stopped the roll out of update as my phone has not been the same since

If the phone is still within the two year warranty I would contact Sony.

Sony are pretty good for repairs when I've had trouble with other phones in the past.

Yes the best of luck mate

Try a cache clear by holding power + volume up for 10 seconds, until you feel 3 vibrations, then turn it on.
Once loaded, go into settings, apps and find Xperia home.
In there go into the permissions folder and turn all on.
Then go back to home and that should have cleared up the main freezing.
If that fails, backup and do a repair installation using Xperia companion (a clean install seems to be better on this update).
