Hi,

What is the expected ETA on the next Samsung S8 firmware update, which will allow wifi calling please, rather than having to use the TUGO app? Loosing this feature, from the s7 curve, is a real step backwards. I know the compatibillity sections states the S8 isnt currently supported, however, there must a planned release date right?

Only Chris can answer so I guess this will be solved with a "no idea" answer too?

I just updated my software on SO and I now have the WiFi calling option in settings don't know if it works though but it's on 😁

Make sure you reboot phone after doing the update.

It's in settings > connections > WiFi calling.

Is 4g calling enabled as well? Would imagine it would be for the handoff when coming off wifi.

They both come as a package, but you have to be in an area enabled for 4g calling, so whilst both are activated the 4g calling aspect won't function everywhere.
