Since I have had an automatic software update I am not able to log onto the internet othe than through wifi

Has mobile data been switched off somehow in settings

Don't think so as when drag down bar on front screen it says it is on

Do you get the 3G or any data symbol

No it is not there

Have you tried switching mobile data off then back on again

Yeah a few times but still no symbol

Have you tried turning the phone off remove the battery then replace and restart
