This may not be O2's fault. There seems to be supply issues in the US. It could very well be affecting supply here.

And it looks like I'm correct about that

Who ever already got SGS4 can post a photo here to make us jalous. I thing who ever has it yet works for o2 or other shops for testing and learn to operate it.

The biggest wind up is the fact that the manufacturers try to use the "UNPRECEDENTED DEMAND" excuse to make headlines and make it look as though they can't make the phones fast enough, or worse, have no idea how many they are going to sell.  Apple have been using that for years, there's no way they have no clue how many phones they are going to sell.

It's just frustrating as a loyal customer that you can get jerked off for weeks on end because of these marketing tactics.

Also, while the person on the front desk may not be able to tell you how many phones are coming into stock and when, or how many devices are on order from the supplier, SOMEONE in the company has this information.  It's total bs that they pull the "uh, we have no idea how many we are getting and we have no idea how many we are pre-selling in relation to that number, trololol".

I'd never run my business like that.

Take a look on the Vodfone forum and you'll see that the exact same thing is going on there.

I expect it's the same on other network forums as well.

I can't understand how O2 have ignored this thread for so long? Are these forums even monitored? A proper statement is in order following this I'd say.

EDIT: Just to add they're also ignoring S4 related tweets https://twitter.com/O2/with_replies

Got to admire your optimism, but please don't hold your breath wink

It's the same old story whenever a top brand new model is launched. O2 would have known how many phones they would have in stock from their initial order and delivery dates should have been amended when pre-orders were received. It's not difficult unless Samsung failed to fulfill the initial delivery.

I've received a confirmation of despatch text today from O2 and the courier service has picked up my package which is now out on the road for delivery tomorrow (26th)... maybe I got lucky? I pre-ordered on the 10th April. Cat Very Happy
