S4 delivery.

Dont know if this is in the right area or if anyone has covered it but will the people who have pre ordered an s4 and getting it posted receive it on the launch day (26th) or will it be on the following Monday.

I'm hoping that if mine is due tomorrow I can either 

a) Change the address to my home address (as I've currently got my work address down)

or

b) Change the date to Monday as there'll be noone at work to sign for it...

Edit:  Well that was amusing - I just spoke with one of the Customer Services representatives at O2 who told me that even though I preordered on 14th the phone was out of stock and I will be receiving it on 3rd May (she checked this with the upgrades dept).  I pressed her for compensation and shes given me £3 off per month for the length of the contract (£72 in total - not bad).  Whilst I was on the phone to her however I received an email from O2 saying that in fact my order has been dispatched!  I can't track it on UKMail's website yet (it just says "Sorry, no records could be found to match the information entered!") but there might be progress at least.  It would appear that O2 themselves have no idea as to what is going on!

Got my text to say be here tomorrow, George if you try tracking on a PC/laptop with ukmail you'll see 2 different places to put your tracking number. Ones consignment and the others reference (me thinks) i tried the 2 of them, first one says same as u the second one had my porter. Hope this helps.

Who's delivering it? UK Mail? What are they like in case the drivers "lose" it? I remember a debacle with a certain courier who shall remain nameless with plenty of iPhones going missing on launch weekend...

I've got mine being delivered to work, who don't have any deliveries on Saturday (mainly because the office is closed). Hopefully the first post-cutoff dispatches aren't too far away!

Got S4 on Friday as promised by O2. Feel gutted for the people who didnt and have to wait. The S4 is very similar to the S3 on the outside but is much faster and has some fantastic features inside. Haven't played too much with it but am learning things every time I do. The big difference is the weight of the S4. It feels much lighter than my S3 and without the battery in you hardly know that youre holding it. Also,despite a larger capacity battery than the S3 it seemed to drain quicker. Hopefully after a few charges and drains it wil be better but I will definately purchase a spare one. Looks like some good accessories for it but I don't think they are available yet. Particularly like the look of the S band and also the wireless charger but I have heard that they arent all they are cracked up to be. There are also been some complaints about the phone being too plasticky but it looks and feels fine to me. To be honest if it had been made of metal I wouldnt have got one as I dont like the feel of the Iphone 5 which is.

Overall though the S4 is a superb phone and the larger screen is excellent.

Does your phone have O2 branding such as splash screen and stock apps etc. do you know if its unlocked?

Had a play with one in phones 4u yesterday had to say I wasn't that impressed with the air view thing the guy was showing me and I tried it myself it took a few goes for it to work
