Problems changing default voicemail number... Says invalid number everytime

Hello i have a Moto G and whenever i recieve a voicemail it defaults to calling 905 and says it's an invalid number. How do i change so it defaults to 901?

 

I'm on o2

Try >> phone then open call settings. Scroll to voicemail, voicemail settings, voicemail number.

Thanks for your reply.

 

I went into the settings like you said and went to change it from 905 to 901 and it displays a message saying "Couldn't change the voicemail number"

 

Any ideas?

Is this a Tesco locked mobile?

If so, short of rooting it I'm not sure you can change the number.

If it's preset into the firmware you'll just have to dial 901 manually to get VM although I'm not aware that Tesco have their own firmware....

It was unlocked from the Tesco Mobile network.

 

You're probably right, i may just leave it and dial 901 manually like you say, but this could be worth a shot if it's not too much hassle
