Hi, i,ve auto backed up all my photos on the google photos app but how do i redownload them to my device?

Hit the 3 dots at the top right and select download. but you have to do this for each photo you want stored on the phone.
The idea is really that they are stored in the cloud and not on your phone to save space.

Go into settings >> accounts >> google

Select your email account and then tick exactly what you want to sync.

But that won't download them to the phone ?
