Oneplus One - Can't enable 4G

Anonymous
Not applicable

Aloha.

I am currently using the inFamous Oneplus One.  Unfortunately I am not able to use 4G network (and my brother's iPhone is working just fine). I changed my APN settings, but that didn't seemed to work. Has anybody got a similar problem?

Cheers

Max

The One plus one is unable to get 4G

however have a look here to get the right settings for the phone if you have problems with that....

These are the standard settings for an O2 Android phone.

BAND 20 is o2 lte, oneplus doesn't support this band.I have same problem with Xiaomi note pro, although it's said could be enabled with some hacking. Not the case with oneplus so no way.

its related to the frequency that the o2 4G runs on, the iPhone 5 also has this issue.
the ee and 3 networks give 4G for the iPhone 5 but not o2 or vodaphone, I imagine your brother has an iPhone more recent than the basic 5

No it's related to the 4g frequency most of Europe runs on.
The iPhone was different as the options were there to have lte support in some way or another in most countries, with the oneplus one, it's a little different as the major band has been omitted.

And if I remember correctly only one network in the UK issued the OnePlusOne on 4G.....Three I think? Certainly for the first generation oneplusone (and that was because it was an EU import?)
