Old sim hasn't deactivated after sim swap

Hi, I upgraded my phone recently and did the sim swap yesterday. My new sim works fine, but so does my old sim. It hasn't deactivated. I tried turning the phone off and on, and taking the sim out. How do I get it deactivated?

I called cs and they sorted it out for me! Cancelled my old contract, so everything's grand now.

Maybe wait until the morning & call cs on 202 or keep trying to turn your phone &on & off as it should be deactivated if the new one is working

Is the old sim your own number or the new number? Sounds like the swap hasnt completed properly

If they're different numbers you couldn't have done a sim swap.

There should be 1 number in an upgrade, the swap is to transfer it to the new SIM card.
You need to call customer services first thing.

Did it go through as an upgrade or a new contract

I'm positive it was. I followed the instructions that came with my new sim, advising me to go to swapmysim. There I followed the instructions. I got a new number with this sim.
