Hi there, I recently left EE and kept my Huawei P20 pro phone, joined O2 on a sim only contract, but stupidly never thought to check if the wifi calling would work for this phone. I've not contacted O2 yet to try activate WiFi calling on my account, but have been reading many sites and posts that it won't work unless my phone has the correct O2 firmware on it. Can someone confirm if this is true and if so does anyone know where is best to get the correct firmware from and how to install it too? Thanks for any help you can give me

Try it first, but if you do need the O2 customisation, head over to XDA forums for help on that.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
