Why are we not getting the android security patches on the Note 8?

I assume you are on generic Samsung, which is lagging behind, but only Samsung can tell you why.

Okay. Seems some people have updates on different carriers or different countries. I assumed the OTA was distributed by the network. I didn't realise it was Samsung.

Thanks for the reply. BTW, how too I check the O2 firmware patch level on the phone? Can't find it myself so far.
