there may be a mast not working in your area. Check these guides. Guide: How can I sort out my network issues? and Guide: Is the network down for me or everyone?

As your son and husband have signal on O2 can I suggest as an experiment you put your husbands SIM in your phone.
If it works then the likelihood is you have a SIM / Account problem
If things are the same the fault is likely to be your phone.
