No apologies for the dramatic title ....I have installed Lollipop and have a few questions and queries

Nothing technical... I am not interested in any of that. The phone runs beautifully with no problems (go me :smileytongue:) but a few things have changed and some for the good and others not so much...

The Good

*Forgive me for saying I like the new colours for notications and emails etc.

*I like the speed of it all (fast isn't the word)

*Battery life is improved

Not so good (or maybe things I dont understand)

This is what I see in About device'.....Why have I only got Lollipop 5.0 and not the latest version?

And could anyone explain what SE for Android Status means?

Oh...and does everything else look ok on this 'about device' page

So...if we can start with that...I have more non techy questions to ask.

(One thing you will realise... I am very willing to learn new stuff even though it may be as basic as hell to some of you)

One more annoying thing and thats it for now...before Lollipop ....if I had two or three tabs open, there was a little x top RIGHT hand corner which allowed me to close a tab...I dont have that anymore and can't seem to close the tabs at all...THIS really annoys the hell out of me....

Back button closes tabs now once you reach the first page you opened, but there is no limits to open tabs anymore so no real need to close them.
If you want to close them all, open running apps and close the Chrome app.

Well I dont like it.....I seem to be pressing back back and back again.....Sometimes if on another site, closing the tab shows you offline after 5 minutes....

And how do I do this below? (sorry if that sounds really dim but never done it that way before?) :slight_frown:

If you want to close them all, open running apps and close the Chrome app.

Press and hold the home key (I think, but your phone and firmware is different to mine) and it should show all open apps. You can close each one individually by swiping off the screen or all of them with the close all button on screen.
