More Htc One camera problems.

This doesn't seem the same problem as some of the other problems I can find on the internet.  90% of the time the camera is fine, but occasionally when you look at the screen it looks like there is water on the lens.  Its blurry and it moves in waves, also it gives a very loud crackling sound at the same time almost like the sound a loose electrical wire would make.  I've had the phone for 3 weeks, I have checked for all firmware, software updates i can find and am confident it's up to date. HELP???

If it isn't working at three weeks old, I wouldn't be happy that it will continue to work when it comes back from O2. I'd phone up, say you've just noticed that your entitled to a new one, and tell them to keep the one they are breaking, sorry, 'fixing', and supply a new one asap.

**UPDATE**

I phoned O2 today to see if i should have been offered a replacement instead of a repair.  The answer I got was:

because it was out of the 14 days limit it is standard procedure to repair the handset...  She did say that with the fault i had described they would most likely replace the handset, Hopefully not with a refurb?

I was told to phone back in a couple of days and they will have an answer for me.

Also Royal Mail said the phone was signed for at 8.40 this morning but O2 hadn't seen it yet?  and my tracking information couldn't be updated...

sigh... starting to get a bit concerned this is all going to go wrong...
