Mobile not working fully since transfer from Virgin

Hi guys,
Any help gratefully received.
The main problem is that 02 network coverage is very poor.
In effect, outside of wifi areas, all i can do with the phone is make calls and text...like going back in time.
any suggestions?

Check the APN settings on your phone as they may well be the ones for Virgin
They should be these

You have been on o2 for over 6months it is only now that you have moved from the Virtual Network to the Physical Network, and nothing has changed with regards to signal strength

It might also be worth resetting your network settings.
