Hiya, M7 users!

So, good news - Lollipop is coming and it's heading your way soon! We're hopeful to have the latest update approved and sent back to HTC over the next few days and if everything goes smoothly, we hope you'll start seeing the OTA update roll out towards the end of next week.

I'll give everyone a heads up when it starts pushing out but if it happens to go out early, please do let us know how you get on and what changes or improvements you've noticed since going from KitKat to Lollipop.

I'm sure I didn't have to mess with these settings for WiFi on KitKat, but I can certainly live with the changes. I was hoping for a big improvement on battery life as promised by Project Volta but it hasn't been evident.......so far 😕

I turned the phone on this morning to see "android is upgrading, please wait".
Any ideas what that was about. Android version 5.0.2 remains the same 😕

For some reason the phone either downloaded a patch or felt it wasn't running OK.
Maybe the previous update hadn't fully completed or some apps needed a reboot to complete their optimisation.

My attempted to Lollipop upgrade on my HTC one M7 failed ( 3 or 4 attempts even after a full reset ). I was informed by O2 chat that M7 is not officially supported yet to upgrade to Lollipop. HTC are saying the same thing - no date for a supported update for O2 m7...

Can someone please enlighten me?

I've just looked at HTC site and it does say 4.4 is the latest for M7....?

Maybe @Chris_K can offer some advice?

My guess is that it was released and now it has been withdrawn, for some reason.
I remember HTC doing this with the initial 4.4.4 release too.
