My Galaxy S5 phone updated last week and ever since I cant hear anything when making calls - HELP

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi my phone updated last week, Im guessing to the newest operating system which from reading other forums on via google seems to be lollipop.

Ever since phone calls are not working. I dial the number and it either rings once and then goes silent, will ring a few times then cut out after speaking for a short while or sometimes is completely silent I cant even hear the phone Im calling ringing. The person the other end can hear me fine. Im so frustrated and Ive tried everything bar a hard reset including a cache clear that other sites are suggesting.

Any tips?

It will be the Marshmallow 6 update I guess and you must do a factory reset after a major update.
Back up the phone and bite the bullet.

Hi @Anonymous did a factory reset fix the call volume issue you were experiencing?
