Modern day phones are all 3G compliant now.

I've asked the mods to move this question to it's own thread as it's not relevant to the thread it was posted in.

Anyway, the S3 Model i9300 is 2g & 3g compliant.

The S3 i9305 is 2g, 3g & 4g compliant, so it depends which model number you have.
