I get good mobile reception at home and everywhere else I routinely take my phone. I have no blocks/diverts set up. My Galaxy Note I is intermittently not receiving calls (they go straight to voicemail) or texts. If I restart the phone I get all the queued texts and some missed call notifications, and will receive calls and texts in real time for a few days.
I've tried a hard reset which has had the same effect as restarting, I was in the US for a week and it behaved fine, then worked for two days when I got home before doing the same thing as before.
I am going to try my SIM in a different phone to reduce some variables but does anyone know if this might be a phone, SIM or network related issue?
Thanks,
Liz

I'm having the sam problem and have been since earlier this year. I always have good signal but often don't recieve texts on time and calls don't come through. This is becoming increasingly annoying especially as I'm currently applying to jobs and need to be able to recieve calls for possible interviews.
I'd like to know if this is a problem related to my specific phone (HTC chacha), SIM or if it is to do with my network coverage but I always tend to have good signal.

One of the many threads on the forum concerning the same issues.

Try turning off voicemail by dialing 1760 if you don't have Tugo installed or delay the time your voicemail kicks in.
"**61*901*11*NN# SEND
NN is the number of seconds in increments of 5 and a maximum of 30 seconds)
One avenue......
You could pick up a blank sim Card from any O2 shop and have them perform the swapmysim procedure in store. Or have one sent out to you and perform the swap yourself.

It takes from a few minutes up to approx 24 hours to reset.
