Hello all,
I have a Huawei Mate 20 X 5G and cannot enable wifi calling, will this be available any time soon?

Hello @springviewer and welcome to the O2 Community.
I'm afraid I don't currently have any info regarding this, but I can tell you we've been working closely with Huawei on bringing this feature to their existing devices but it has unfortunately been proving difficult. We're comitted to bringing this feature to our customers, but it's extremely complex and unfortunately can take time to get right.
We continue to work alongside Huawei to get this feature to our customers and as soon as I've got any info specific to the Mate 20 x 5G, i'll let you know.

Thank you, I know I can get wifi calling on it as my previous provider (Three) allowed it.

The device is certainly capable of it, but half of the functionality comes from its implementation within our network - and it's that bit that differs across the networks.
Soon as I get more info, i'll keep you posted.

Hi @springviewer - so, this one should be a good news as the device team have confirmed to me that the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G is Wifi & 4G Calling enabled and is one of the devices listed here: https://www.o2.co.uk/connectivity/wifi-and-4g-calling
It's possible all you'll need to do is setup/provision the service via My O2 or by getting in touch with our customer services team. https://www.o2.co.uk/help/network-coverage-and-international/wifi-and-4g-calling

unfortunatelyat the moment O2 doesn't offer wifi calling on my phone, not sure why.
