How to hide the Notification and Nav bars

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi All,

            This may be a very device specific issue but here goes:

I have a Motorola Edge and cannot seem to get the Notification and Navigation bars to disappear when not needed. I'm using a custom launcher and that hides them but if I go onto an app, say Outlook, the Notification bar at the top stays. This makes it impossible to use any of the apps own controls, especially as I run everything in full screen. I could get them to hide on y old Samsung phone but not on this one. Anybody have any ideas on what to try?

Sorry for the long-winded question.

Thanks

Matt

@Anonymous

Have you got battery saver on max as that will keep the status bar visible?

I managed to found a workaround. I installed GMD Immersive and it does what I need it to. Can set it individually for any app too.
