Hide apps

Hello. I've recently got an A5 2017, previously used a SGS5 which had a hidden apps folder that was very useful keeping main screens tidy but allowing easy access to the lesser used hidden apps. Does anyone know if this function is available on the A5? Perhaps it's hidden! Ta

@Anonymous I have an S8+.

I use the secure folder for personal apps such as my bank app, M&S and John Lewis apps etc.

I can click on the upper right hand corner of my apps screen to get settings which includes 'hide apps'.
I have hidden all my games apps and wallpaper apps to keep my main screen tidy.

Somewhere in settings you should find 'hide apps' either on your apps screen or in the main settings menu.

Hope this helps and welcome to the forum

From the Samsung support pages.

You can hide apps so that they are not shown in the apps screen. This will not uninstall the app, but will simply remove it from view. Note that if you have a newer model device, such as a Samsung Galaxy S7 or S8, or the 2017 models for the Galaxy A3 or A5, your device contains a secure folder for hidden apps.
